The scene in the Heavy Repair Shop on 31.3.04.
The firebox has been lagged and the sheeting fitted, as has the regulator handle (the vertical red lever in the centre of the photo). The regulator handle carries the standard BR warning plate "SHUT REGULATOR WHEN COASTING" to remind drivers that coasting with the regulator partially open ... the normal practice with Walshaerts locos ... causes severe damage to Caprotti locomotives.
