VolunteersBy joining the Midland Railway Trust now you have the unique opportunity of being involved in one of the fastest developing Railway Preservation Projects in the country. The Midland Railway Centre is a unique development in Railway Preservation which can only continue to develop with the support of the Midland Railway Trust membership.By being a member of the Midland Railway Trust you receive a quarterly magazine `The Wyvern'. This magazine continues to win awards thanks to its high quality and interest. You also are able to travel on Midland Railway Centre trains at reduced fares and be involved in the development of the Centre. The Trust carries out a great deal of work at the Centre with volunteers taking part in a wide range of differing activities. Whatever your interest there would be an opportunity for you to be involved, whether rebuilding locomotives, rolling stock and railway equipment or in operating the trains, or manning the Museum or helping with the lots of other jobs that help run the railway and museum.
