Thomas the Tank Engine™, with his friends including Sir Topham Hatt, the Fat Controller, will be visiting Butterley during December 2012.Come and see Thomas who will be here from Tuursday December 27th to Monday December 31st
Trains will run at 11.00 a.m., 12.30 p.m. or 2.00 p.m.
You can just turn up on the day but if you want to book your tickets in advance you can do so.Prices are £12.50 for adults; £10.50 for children aged 3 and over; and £7.50 for children under 3.
A Festive Day out with ThomasYour ticket gives you one round trip on the Festive Thomas train along our heritage line. During the journey adults receive a complimentary drink and mince pie, and children visit the Fat Controller in his office on the train and receive a gift.On return to Butterley Station there is a large heated and decorated marquee where the Imagination Station (a children's activity area) and the Pinxton Puppet theatre show are situated. The puppet show takes place after each train returns to Butterley station and lasts for approximately 15 minutes. If you wish to break your journey at Swanwick Junction and visit the attractions there you are welcome to do so and return on a later train. The shop and buffet are also open at Butterley Station. As there are a limited number of tickets available for each train service we recommend advance booking, but there will be a number of seats available on the day.
